Summit Springs Battlefield Located 16 miles southeast of Sterling, this historic site chronicles the last known Native American battle in the region. Monuments and markers provide information on the events. From I-76, Exit 115 at Atwood. The site is southeast (towards Akron) on Colorado 63 about 5 miles.
